| My partner and I were in Koh Samui from Dec 19-Dec 23rd and in that time we were lucky enough to experience the wonderful quality and service of Timmy's Tailor at Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui.
We arrived with only 3 days left and were told that this was MORE than enough time to get the suits we desired. Not only were the prices at Timmy's excellent, but there were no hidden fees or secret agendas. We didn't have to ask for discounts as the items were already cheap enough and even after that Timmy would give discounts willingly. What my partner and I really liked was that Timmy and his helpful brother Ashish didn't hang around outside their store and harass people passing by. They were confident enough about the quality of their service to let people enquire themselves. Other tailors were obtrusive and also somewhat rude when walking through the streets of Chaweng, however the people at Timmy's were the most professional, helpful and friendly people we came across. My partner and I bought 2 mens suits, 1 female 3 piece suit, There is no one better in Koh Samui and do not be fooled by the other tailors in the street. Timmy's truly is your best option and their 20+ years experience proves it. Well done Timmy's, we look forward to ordering more from you in the future. |

| There are 100s of them along Chaweng Beach Road and close by any other hotel around the island. If you are near Chaweng try "Thimmy's", great guy, good prices, good quality and fair prices. | Bring that suit, take it to "Timmys" tailors on central/south end of Chaweng beach road, and he will sort you out. Bangkok tailors are basically rubbish -unless you pay through the teeth, when you can get some good threads made. Timmy has looked after my suits for 16 years -no complaints whatsoever. Mention Gavin,Bangkokgas, and a discount of sorts is guaranteed! | We read many reviews before we left for Samui to determine which tailor to go to whilst in Samui. At Timmy you will get a reasonable price without the need to waste time negotiating and he is a great guy. We got 2 mens suits, 1 ladies suit and 4 shirts made up at Timmys. | There can be opinions from others about good experiences or bad ones. But from my experience and that of my mates who visited Timmys Masschneider, I know that he is good. He is straight forward in his approach and does his best to keep his customers happy with his workmanship and quality. Timmys does provide pick up service incase if you are located in away from his shop. He also has three other outlets in Samui but the best is to visit him in Chaweng next to Chaba Resort. | I just got back from Koh Samui yesterday and went to Timmys (opposite Beachcomber in Chaweng). They weren't the cheapest but extremely good quality. He gets lots of repeat business sending orders overseas which is a good sign. Out suits are great and took 3-4 days. | I got a suit made at Timmy's last year the workmanship and quality were both good and if I go back to Koh Samui I'll be going back to get more suits made.
